The Mexican Sardine Run is one of nature’s most spectacular marine events. Every year, from October to January, massive schools of sardines attract predators such as striped marlin, dolphins, sea lions, whales, and seabirds in an incredible feeding frenzy.
Wildlife is never 100% guaranteed, as this is a natural, wild environment. However, Magdalena Bay offers some of the best opportunities in the world to witness predator activity during sardine run season.
